    Bans

“ The British capital is the target of tougher measures because it has the highest rate of infection and deaths so far. Debate within government is continuing about whether non-essential shops - that is those not selling food or medical supplies - would be included in the ban.

The Government had been considering a formal ban on Thursday and was braced to announce it - but pulled back.Among senior government figures there is a deep reluctance to issue banning orders.”

WTF is wrong with them ffs - too many donations from Lloyds of London? We need MF in charge

I feel terrible for the people serving in shops. They must have the highest exposure levels just now and are also the one group that we must come into contact with.

They should all be masked and gloved.

The only shops with more than a couple of customers are food shops and pharmacies. Loads such as IKEA and house pimps have shut up shop.

Restaurants are reporting loads of cancelled bookings.

Fast food outlets are doing takeaway only.

So the problem is pubs and gyms.

In short the government needs to close leisure places such as pubs, holiday parks, soft play, gyms and tell food places that they can only do takeaways.

Oh and if they just look down London then people like me could just get into a car and go stay with relations outside London.

In fact my younger neighbours have done that already - taking any virus with them...

Gyms can probably stay open - people who go there should have good immunity...

There is like 22 Ikeas in the UK. I can walk to any one of 22 supermarkets in 20 minutes.

Just reading an update - if you are in the West Midlands you are in trouble.

Pubs, shops etc to be closed on Monday or sooner across England.

Right that's it. Go and self quarantine yourself and don't post again until you've been symptom free for 10 days.
