    Germans May Be Locked Down

    If Germans don't behave sensibly they will be locked down on Monday.

    Here in Bavaria restriction on movement was enacted:


    Starting at midnight, you are only allowed out of your house/off your property to go to:

    •to/from work
    •grocery shopping (alone)
    •necessary doctors appts
    •pharmacy
    •post office
    •gas stations (for gas)
    •banks (to get money)
    •assist those who need help
    •walks/sports alone or as a family unit (must live together)
    •visit a partner or your child with whom you don’t live
    •walking pets

    Fines of up to 25,000€ for non-compliance.

      Post Office? That's the first place that should be closed down. Pensioners are like moths to the PO's candle.

          No lockdown here but non-essential shops, pubs, clubs, etc. have been shut for over a week anyway and a lot of people have been self isolating anyway. Popped out today to get a few things and the large supermarket had queues outside and only letting 2 in at a time. Popped instead to a 'green' supermarket and they were letting 1 in as 1 left. Was quite busy but had plenty of fresh foods, just no pasta or flour. All the bicycle shops were open though!
          Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

            There was a rumour you'd died and been put on ice for a state funeral after all this virus kerfuffle had died down (if that isn't an unfortunate phrase)
