UK fuel prices seem to have dropped lower than some other European countries.

Doesn't matter; as long as the solution fits in with AtW's lifestyle, the rest are clearly wrong. Grade A w*nker (him, not you).

My lifestyle isn’t sitting at home you idiot, and now other idiots make sacrifices made by most of this country devalued - and costing lifes too.

This moronic lack of planning is crazy - from start that problem should have been addressed: use CCTV everywhere to track reg numbers too, nothing is bloody prepared in this country - this sill cost thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of pounds

Who is going to install CCTV in the majority of the country if doest not exist? How will the installers get there? Should they put put up in hotels near to where the CCTVs are to be installed?

Erm, UK got more CCTV per capita than maybe even China, all motorway cams are (or can easily be if law permits) connected to automatic number plate recognition system.

Sensible thing would have been once a week shop in a car max - split days of week based on number plate to spread out people, any other driving out should be pre-registered - otherwise cops get you for curfew violations etc

Basically do whatever it fooking takes in emergency, let people whine about civil rights later, much later when virus is done for.

              The alternative is far worse.

Why do you need CCTV when lots of places have ANPR?

ANPR is fed by what, magic beans? It takes video feed, any network connected cam (like motorways got) should be fed into the system.

Obviously real essential workers will be on exception list (for a given area)

All this should have been PLANNED WELL BEFORE AND JUST NEEDED ACTIVATION IN EVENT OF PANDEMIC!

It's already in place. It's there. What else needs to be implemented that you think is missing?

A system that links car reg nums to times when they can travel, owners knowing that and obeying rules and harsh enforcement for those fooking about, expecially if they are young.

Having such systems beforehand would not have cost much
