    Halifax iWeb (Lloyds)

If everything is fantastic, why has the ability to open a SIPP account with Halifax (Lloyds Banking Group) iWeb online facility been disabled?

Seems a bizarre move at the end of this tax year.

Will have a look at Interactive Investor instead - 1 year fee-free SIPP and can transfer out to another provider with no charge!

        ATW:
Russians have a brainwashing issue from birth; much as the Chinese CCP government also work on their citizens. It means you're unable to critically analyse things properly and jump to defensive or aggressive stances. It's a common issue and one of the major reasons Russians leave Russia and nobody moves there and acquires a Russian passport from decent free thinking countries.

I count myself lucky to have been to many countries, but Russia ranks as the worst I've ever had the misfortune to stay in for an extended period. With folk like you around it's hardly surprising it remains the way it is.

It's Friday April 3rd - if a bank transfer is done using anything other than fast transfer it will not be received in time for the end of the tax year which to all intents and purposes is in 2 hours time.

And Lloyds / Halifax won't do anything other than slow transfers as they like the interest they get when the money sits in limbo for 2 working days

            Correct.
It's only quick if it is within the group ie. from Lloyds to Halifax for example.

I have in the past funded SIPPs with the business debit card. Easier and quick.
