    In the week ending 3 April, the total number of deaths was 6,000 more than the average for this time of year. Only 3,475 were linked to Coronavirus. Its not obvious why this is happening.

      Because the remaining 2525 haven't been linked to coronavirus. That does not mean that coronavirus wasn't the cause.

          Depends what your definition of "linked" is.

          Official figures only include those who died in hospital having tested positive for the virus. They don't include deaths at home, in care homes etc, or where they haven't been tested but displayed symptoms.

              Lack of testing for Covid, obviously.

              One would have thought in this pandemic there will be compulsory testing for it of every death.

              At the same time Mor Ons talk of Chinese suppression of death figures
