UK expected to miss 100,000 a day virus testing target

“ Ambition of reaching figure within next fortnight seen as ‘political’ by some experts

Devi Sridhar, professor of global public health at the University of Edinburgh, described the 100,000 figure as a “political target rather than one grounded in a testing strategy or in what was feasible”. “

It is a sad feature of the current Tory Junta (which is essentially the Brexit Gang fluffed out with a bunch of duffers who will say anything they're told) that they entirely substitute words for deeds.

It is a real shame we are at the mercy of these people who do not have a single thread of honesty or integrity. But even worse is they get away with it scot-free.

The gammons won't care. Boris is quirky and has a bit of character about him. Just the breath of fresh air the country needs.

Our targets were impeccable for leaving the EU...+3 months every 3 months. Wouldn't it be easier to just report on targets kept?

Crossrail? 3rd runway for closed airport? The only targets the UK does well is when an unknown Afghanistan town is the crosshairs of a hellfire missile.
