Finally a solution - ‘Covid-secure’ offices to get Britain back to work

“ A Treasury proposal to “get Britain back to work” includes plans to ensure that offices and workplaces are free from coronavirus. Rishi Sunak, the chancellor, is drawing up measures to allow non-essential businesses to reopen in a “safe and practical way”.

Businesses will have to put up signs telling workers to remain two metres apart from one another and instruct staff to go home if they have symptoms of Covid-19.

Companies will also be told to close “communal spaces” such as canteens, unless people are able to socially distance, and to ensure there is a widespread supply of hand-washing facilities and hand gel.”

Doesn't sound practical at all.. what about meeting rooms? I guess they'd have go too.
Half of the desks would need to be removed in some smaller offices.
    Then whats the point?

If anything, this could spell the end of 'open-plan' offices.
Cubicles could be the new normal.

The point is that politicians in charge want to make it businesses' problem, just like that dumb Mayor of Las Vegas on CNN the other day

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
