Shi Zhengli (simplified Chinese: 石正丽; traditional Chinese: 石正麗; born 26 May 1964) is a Chinese virologist who researches SARS-like coronaviruses of bat origin. Shi directs the Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), a biosafety level 4 (BSL–4) laboratory located in Jiangxia District, Wuhan.
In 2014, the US National Institutes of Health placed a moratorium on SARS, MERS, and influenza gain-of-function studies, due to concerns about the risks vs. benefits of such research,
Read the paper there from 2015. The Wuhan institute had been gathering 100's of dangerous Bat sourced Covid viruses to study at the Wuhan institute.

Now tell me Covid-19 didn't come from the lab?

Rather than trying to prove something didn't happen, would you like to tell me that it did come from you lab? (Please show your working)

Okay there's a category 4 virus lab in Wuhan that has been collecting and working on Covid viruses for donkeys years.

There's a Covid outbreak centred in Wuhan.

But the Covid-19 didn't come out of that lab openly working on Covid like viruses in the exact same location.

Fair enough, it came from someone eating a bat sandwich...

Yes but if a virus was collected from a bat in the lab then bats' friends in the wild would also have the virus, and there are fewer safety procedures in a forest where all the infected bats are flying around than in the lab where the virus is sealed in a test tube.

In any case the RNA has been publicised and scientists say it's all natural sequences that can be traced back to other variants.
          I'm alright Jack

How many markets are there in the whole of China?

How many level-4 virus labs specialising in Coronavirus research from bats, doing work that was labelled as very dangerous:

In 2014, the US National Institutes of Health placed a moratorium on SARS, MERS, and influenza gain-of-function studies, due to concerns about the risks vs. benefits of such research,
The question now is how many trillions does China now owe the planet in compensation due to negligence?

Come on man, be serious. These bats don't just "fly around"! They use sophisticated echo location that is a product of million of years of evolution. How many bat crashes have you heard about? Their flights are safer than humans most cutting-edge planes.

Such bat would never fly into human, however humans even fly into buildings or mountains were bats take rest.

You should confine yourself to excelling in your permie role.
Your manager wont be interested in your Covid thoughts at your bi-monthly appraisal.
Leave virology and epidemiology to the experts.

No evidence then? It could be true of course, like many things, but where is the evidence?
