Because the source code is released, it doesn't mean it is what is actually running on people phones

Yes, reviewed it. Not convinced they've found a workaround to make the iOS beacon/ranging work in the background reliably. I think the app will get shelved and they will continue with development of a decentralised app using the Apple/Google APIs.

Will it harvest discreet data. I don't want HMG to know which Russian Oligarchs I have been meeting. Don't want them to know about the tax avoidance meetings at PWC either. Or the fact that i'm slipping out of lockdown for a bit of nookie on the side with an MP's wife (I don't want them telling my wife either!)
