    Swiss cross parcels

Just talking with my parents, and my dad mentioned that he's reduced to drinking Gordon's. I've made an emergency order. Anyone else have elderly parents in penury?

Went to local shop tonight - they only had Gordon’s (it’s drinkable) on the shelf

Owner sees me looking at shelf and produces my usual Hendricks from under the counter

Thought you might be in he said

That is Bavaria, you will upset Heidi!

The Swiss do dodgy bank accounts & milky chocolate. (oh and Men in skirts to guard the Vatican - they like to keep their Bank customers happy).

Back in the early days, before lockdown but when loo roll suddenly became more valuable than "real" money, I sent my parents (courtesy of Ocado) two packs of nine toilet rolls, four bottles of Rioja, and a packet of digestives.
