    WTF

“ Newly-released papers from the Scientific Advisory Group on Emergencies shows routine testing and tracing of contacts was stopped because Public Health England’s systems were struggling to deal with a handful of cases.

At a meeting on Feb 18, advisors said PHE could only cope with testing and tracing contacts of five Covid-19 cases a week, with modelling suggesting it might only be possible to increase this to 50 cases.”

Revealed: Test and trace was abandoned because system 'could only cope with five coronavirus cases a week'

5 cases per week, with maybe increase to 50 per week snd they had to model that?

One secure call to GCHQ a day ought to have been enough

PHE have a budget of 5 billion a year, or £100,000 per capita if you are NAT.

      They don't.

Their budget was explained a couple of months ago and it's piss poor.

It’s £300million, but Dr Minesy isn’t interested in facts.

The other questions that are coming out about the failings in the UK:
Why was contact tracing dropped from the agenda in early March?
We are supposed to have taken back control of our borders - why only introduce quarantine in June for arriving passengers? Why not do it in in February? The only ones who were forced into quarantine were those who came off the cruise ships at the start, after that, nothing.

The intelligence of DC & BJ, or the intelligence of people flying to the UK?

It's good to think who profits from such decisions. Have you seen the donors being mad lately?

The only risk being considered is that to the NHS. TBH you want to catch it now when it's weak, not next Winter.

Calm down dear, it’s just another joke that went whooshing over your head, nothing to fret over.

Ask NAT to explain it to you, if you’re still clueless.
