Because the situation you will probably find yourself in is that the experts will range in views between "He is not a journalist" and "You could make an argument that he is a journalist". You will wade in with your definitions. saying that they are absolutely wrong and he is indisputably a journalist. And they will explain to you that you have made a failure of reasoning, because you are trying to use definitions of a category as a cast iron way of determining whether an item belongs to a category.
