I'm guessing that if he was an anti-semitic racist, he'd have put a little less effort into defeating the ultimate anti-semitic racist, and instead laid out a very large red carpet. It's far from conclusive, as evidence goes, but Churchill was going against the grain at the time. Maybe it's time for our German friends to wheel out some Daily Mail headlines of the era?

Given that it was only 2 decades after WWI, I don't think siding with Germany was ever going to be an option. I appreciate you must have had some very 'imaginitive' history teachers, so I'll leave it at that.

Let's just get this over with and agree everyone (white) prior to about 1940 was terrible. Racist, sexist homophobes the lot of them. Further, any TV show or film from before about 10 years ago should be banned.
