The pre-nup expires soon and then he's going for a little swim in the Manchester Ship Canal with his new concrete wetsuit.

Not wishing to hijack this thread but can anyone recommend a decent cheapish shop vacuum?

I need something to attach to the cover of my grinder and my Dyson won't be able to handle the volume of dust.

Will a Henry do the job or is it too small?

I was thinking that. It may do the job so long as it can keep up. There's going to be a lot of dust....

Numatic has a George with a larger capacity and more power.

You never see a builder with a Dyson.
                    2 reasons:
                    1. They are overpriced
                    2. The money went on marketing design.

Buy British - Henry is designed and made in Chard, Somerset - not far from you.
The bag is easy to replace.
You can run them bagless if you want. (not recommended, but it works)
You'll get 3 Henry for the price of one Dyson. Except one Henry will probably last you 3x as long as a Dyson.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Not sure a shop vac or the right tool for that job, they have limited capacity and don't always neutralise the tiny particles. Google: cyclone dust extractors diy. They often start with a shop vac.
