Yep spot on. As Stephen Fry said "I think the ability to play gracefully with ideas is disappearing from our culture, and I think that's a terrible thing."Comment

As somebody you have read about in the Times or Private Eye once wrote:
Come mothers and fathersThroughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly agin'
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand

Bob Dylan was always a patronising git. Great musicianship and lyricism not withstanding.
Funny thing. My son and daughters understand and agree precisely with Pie. It's nice of you to feel you speak for all the new generation... but that's also a tad patronising.

Everyone is brown. Some very pale indeed, some darker. Some go darker on exposure to sun. But basically, human skin colour is just various shades of brown.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

And that bit about categorising people into more and more segments in the name of diversity. This obsession with defining what is white and what is black reminds me of the race laws various countries have had over the years.

The woke don't care about facts or logic or credibility, this for them is about power and forcing what they want through violence if necessary. I hate to think what might happen if Trump wins another term in November.
The irony will be that if he does it will be their doing because the silent majority have completely had enough of wokeness, identity politics and the riots and looting have crossed the line. I hope America doesn't turn into a real life version of GTA."Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like? If that is the case then we have free speech."- Elon MuskComment
