Nope I believe you still go up but you can no longer help yourself they put the items on the plate for you...

I'm not 100% sure though I don't talk to people who frequent such establishments.

Mass idiocy in the papers this morning. These pictures of pubs full to bursting - gwd.

You do realise they send people out specially to find the crowded pubs to sensationalise it right? And pick camera angles that make it look as bad as possible.

Was straight out to pub on Saturday. You get an allocated table, so went for an all day bender.
Massive session, ten pints, shots, got a lap dance off the girl on the next table but her husband kicked off, so got into a massive fight. Police called, banged up in a cell for three hours, then headed off. Bumped into the husband again, bit of fisticuffs and we both landed up in A&E at the local hospital. That was crap as they were all masked up, so I stripped off, ran down the maternity ward pushing all the cribs, before vomitting in one of the staff kitchens.

All in all, it was like nothing had changed.

Reports and pics from my brother at the Ferryboat Inn at Helford Passage suggest all having a good time whilst observing the social distancing rules.
