Bring lockdown back - it was nice not seeing family for months

I'm going to hell I know....
It was actually quite nice not having to see family. Anyone else?

My MIL is back. Drinking my beer - we're talking 3/4 bottles a night here. And has somehow wangled 3 nights a week staying over.
She used to stay before - to help with childcare but as kids got older.

WFH I'm right off at the moment too. Don't think I'd fancy this forever. Alas, public sector client is already talking january earliest. I'd be ok if there was no-one else at home. (Thinking sitting on sofa, beer in hand, etc). Not so good with wife here (she works shifts) and MIL (who I used to see for maybe an hour or two in the evening and that was it).

Tips to retain sanity when WFH please!

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

You're a contractor man, can't you just work from the other wing of the house, or at a push the coachhouse?
And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.

Remember she has to keep socially distant even when in your house, from you and the kids. You should be sanitising toilets and anything else you both touch.

Don't they require immigrants to have some desirable skills?

                    Maybe she's lonely.
