Find in slightly annoying.
Basket weaving for beginners!!
I find a lot of the content useful. I'm studying for an AWS certification at the moment but I've still done quite a few LinkedIn courses to gain some knowledge of new topics for me like data science and machine learning.
In the upcoming catastrophic job market post the furlough scheme ending, every little bits helps. Saying in an interview that you did a few LinkedIn courses during furlough will sound better than confessing you watched a load of Netflix box sets.
Considering the amount of non-work stuff posted on LinkedIn, a picture of a certificate seems a bit low on my list of things to get wound up aboutComment

I put my ITIL 4 Managing Professional cert on as I was the first contractor in the country to hold it and I was out of work at the time. It did help as well so very worthwhile. General certs then no I wouldn't bother.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

You should put your cert badgets on Linkedin. You'll get loads of views and likes from your network, and anyone that follow their likes will see also. It can raise your profile, and you never know it could lead to your next gig.
Once I added an Azure badge on there and a pimp must have been scanning for them as he immediately sent me a LI message.Comment

I've got all my certs on there. For an oldie like me it just shows that I'm still relevant as they are; a) for newish technology, b) recently dated....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
