    Interesting Tweet from a Dr

I don't read Twitter but saw this thread earlier from a Doc. Not short, but worth a read.

Bit of a moaner really. Trying to squeeze Brexit in there, bit disingenuous.

More of a political rant I think.

Hmmm, inneresting you think that. Clearly you're more triggered by that one mention of Brexit, rather than the other 20 odd pages of well written expert analysis.

I guess you know more than this highly respected doctor

Not really pages was it, it's tweets. If you are getting a tweet and pages mixed up then perhaps you should read more actual books.

I think bringing in her political views was a mistake and I do wonder if she is a serial ranter.

The expired PPE was just nonsense, the PPE was retested to make sure it was still OK. She may well have had some real factual points to make but was spoilt by her political views and disingenuous comments.

You're clearly an expert ... maybe you should take over her role of advising Cambs GPs as you're clearly far more knowledgeable

Or, just maybe, you don't like what she says as it's against the colour of rosette you vote for

Ignore the politics and look at the facts that she talks about.

Sure. Cocaine make you thinner is the main gist I got from this.

Government screwed up in not deal with Covid-19 considerably earlier. With explanations, personal testimony and analysis. I've read the same stuff before, and while I think it's probably fair comment, I didn't read it in detail.

We looked at USA and thought, we can do a worse job than that cretin Trump! Easy!

The PPE was the lowest quality of PPE issued in Europe to frontline medical staff. Surgical masks and, if lucky, a basic thin plastic apron - both to be reused for a week - were the order of the day. The quality of respirator facemask advice was then downgraded by PHE to address the shortage, rather than ramp up productions of appropriate respirators.

You don't have friends who are doctors, who you can ask information from? I would've thought most contractors here socialised in such circles. It's one of the main reasons I'm fully aware of the situation in England and Scotland. Perhaps those posting here who live in NI and Wales can confirm the state of affairs there.
