Did anyone use their lockdown time profitably?

Now lockdown is hugely eased seems as good a time as any to take stock. When this all started everyone seemed to be making 'resolutions' to use this once-in-a-lifetime enforced period at home to better themselves.

Has anyone here actually done so, or tried and failed? Learned a new language, taken up a new hobby or learned a skill? Decorated the house or finally sorted out the garden? Read improving books and watched informative documentaries?

    I haven't done ****.

Pushed on with my extension a fair bit, but broadly.....no, not really to be honest.

I was busy with work up to May, mind. Pretty dead now though

Not really, if anything I'm a bit more lazy. Client work has dropped but not enough for me to concentrate on anything full time.

I was going to study for certifications but never got round to it - still might

What I really need is another lock down, now that I know what to expect.

I got around to sorting out my garden.

I took my garden leave very seriously.

            Thankfully back in contract again.

No because I was earning cash.

110 days invoiced in 4 months. Delivered loads of IT stuff for Covid management. Got a walk on the beach almost every morning.

Basically, splitting my commuting time into a walk on the beach and billable time.

Yeh, been slowly decorating the house, about an hour a day. Too boring to do much more, but getting there.
