    Facemasks

Face masks are to be made compulsory in shops from the 24th of July. Until then, the Coronavirus has agreed to wait at the doors of shops.

Still trying to work out what shops have to do to prepare for this for it to take so long to implement. All you need is a printer for a couple of signs for the doors. Other countries managed to do it practically immediately so why can't world beating App producing England?

Why indeed. Cause we’re still tied to the shackles of the EU in’it? Once we’re free.

And dame people have no problem in introducing massive tax increases effective immediately - compulsory (simple) masks should have been required from March

The big question is how many idiots will refuse to wear them - thankfully they at least can’t say that it breaches their Constitutional rights since there is no Constitution in the UK

Right, except you don't have to actually wear a mask do you? Just have to ensure the mouth and nose are covered.

In other words, any old bit of rag will do which seems utterly futile because it's going to be about as effective as a bit of chicken wire stopping a gnat

What a waste of effort. If you have it stay at home, if you haven't had it catch it soon. I guess the revenue income from car parking atrocities has been hit so they need the income to pay for the XMas party.

Surely the government and shops should be handing out face masks rather the shops charging rip-off prices for disposable masks.
