              They were always planned to be phased out by 2024 anyway. With aviation not doing very well at the moment it makes perfect sense to get rid of them early as they're not very fuel efficient and are expensive to maintain. Aircraft technology has moved on a bit since the 1990's.

                Try 1960s for the original, and 1980s for the -400 as used by BA.
