??????? Scottish independence: New poll shows clear majority for yes vote

"The Panelbase survey also shows a commanding lead for the SNP heading into next year's Holyrood elections, with a resounding victory for Nicola Sturgeon likely to heighten calls for a second referendum on independence.

Support for Scottish independence stands at 54% according to Panelbase poll for the Sunday Times, with 46% support for the union. It is the second survey in recent weeks to show this level of support among Scots for leaving the UK"

    I don't think we've discussed this before.

And be sure to tell them it's not a real poll if there's no AndyW's Mum option on the ballot paper...

Hope Cummings allows another vote, voices need to be heard now the truth is known. But I wouldn't hold me breath.

In 5 years it will be 60% and in another 5 - 70%: independence to gain membership in EU, no brainer.

Where's the money going to come from to keep an independant Scotland propped up once the mney from England stops crossing the border.

The EU sure as **** can't take on another passenger having just lost 15% of its income.

They sure can and they sure will because they've got brains to think strategically - England will be back.

I think you mean how is England going to cope without Scotland as a cash cow?

The money you talk about crossing the border from England is a minuscule percentage of the money we send to Westminster.

An independent Scotland within the EU would at least solve the problem of where the EU is going to get all their free fish in future. And if you think Westminster treats you like a piece of tulip, wait till you have to answer to Brussels.

Yeah - like small state-members of EU are doing really badly

I was thinking specifically of Greece, but when we know the full economic impact of Covid19 there will certainly be others.
