    The animals are revolting...

Boa constrictor captured beside River Thames at Barnes - BBC News

A large boa constrictor which was spotted slithering beside the Thames in south-west London has been captured.

The snake, which was about 5ft (1.5m) long, was caught by the RSCPA on Sunday after being seen in undergrowth near Barnes Bridge.

Jade Guthrie, who collected the reptile, said that due to its size, she believed it had been recently abandoned rather than it being a stray.

She said it was in a good condition and would be taken into specialist care.

All those 'missing cat' posters around Barnes can come down now...

I'm not convinced a snake can wander. So I'm now doubting the RSPCA woman, It's fake news and it needs to be turned into two pairs of shoes, a handbag and a wallet.

The report says 'slithering' not 'wandering'. And how do we know it hasn't been turned into accessories various, shortly to be found for sale in the local RSPCA shop? Barnes is a very well-heeled neighbourhood, if you pardon the pun...

Never been to Barnes. It's south of the river, you see.
