    It's 24% + 7.5% = 31.5% or even 24% + 32.5% = 56.5%. Umbrella is a bargain compared to that.

        not true,
        if you work through Ltd company and have 100k income,
        salary 12500
        corp tax 21000
        tax+NI on dividends of 66500=12500
        total tax = 33.5%

        still 10% less tax than going through umbrella
