I've watched the one on Somalia, which really changed my idea of what that place must be like. Senegal was last night and it was good as well.
The downside is that the whole show just focuses on the presenter, I swear the cameraman must have had a huge crush. Anywhere she visits, it's a picture of her visiting. And she wears the same red dress all the time, like it's her costume or gimmick. Also, she happily accepts any old crap that people say with no argument or challenge.

This is why the Band Aid "Do they know it's Christmas" song is so cringy and patronising ..... yes, they do know it's Christmas as Ethiopia was Christian way before we were. It's a fascinating country that had one year of droughts and famine, but it's all we think about when someone mentions Ethiopia.
