    Nationwide Building Society House Price Index Oct 20

    Key points:

    - Annual house price growth rises to 5.8% in October, the highest rate since Jan 2015

    - Prices up 0.8% month-on-month, after taking account of seasonal factors

    Interesting. The alerts I get from the likes of Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket more often than not are to tell me about reductions. Seen cuts of up to £75k on some properties.

              I'm seeing a upward trend for houses in the areas I monitor (inc. London).
