Electric cars look very appealing for city driving. Apart from the monthly lease you don't have to shell out any money for petrol.
I plan to replace one of my cars with electric next time.

Which one? Some driveway jewellery like a Porsche or Tesla?

Or a KIA or something like that?

Still driving the same Porsche Cayenne I bought in 2014. Nothing broken but the Navi is showing its age. Thinking of trading it in.

Golf GTE , but looking at Tesla Model 3 or an E-Golf. (then I talk myself down as i just see cars as a massive waste of money).

I wish I had gone pure electric, now that I've a handle on charging points and understand my car usage, but it seemed daring to make the leap at the time.

Seen the price of them now? Mid £20ks for a healthy bay window, £40k for a Splitty (and I could have had a fully restored one for £2500... )

Aye, work, weather and lockdown meant it took longer than I’d hoped but all done now.

Did have one of those old Volvos with the steel bumpers, you can get full sheets of plasterboard in those!
