For anyone interested in the immune response of Covid and the new vaccines

I found this an interesting read.

Immunological considerations for COVID-19 vaccine strategies

I think what will have some implications are the non-neutralizing vaccines which if I understand correctly, protect the person who is vaccinated but spread active infectious virus particles to others.

Table 1 Immunological properties of major COVID-19 candidate vaccine platforms

Therefore if the measures of social distancing, mask wearing, etc are removed, those yet to be vaccinated are very likely to catch Covid-19 from those that have been vaccinated (depending on the type of vaccine used).

All very interesting stuff, hopefully the best vaccine will be selected.
