    BoJos Winter Covid Plan

    1. Open in just over a week with still massive daily cases (will be >10k+ per day, probably 15k)

    2. More relaxed rules than when the virus was growing exponentially before 2nd “lockdown”

    What can possibly go wrong?

Most places will be under stricter rules than before lockdown but still, I agree. Well the highest level of local restriction basically IS lockdown right?

Maybe the hope is people will take restrictions more seriously having seen that a second lockdown wasn't an idle threat. Not sure if the problem was the restrictions were too lax, or that too many were ignoring them. Psychology plays a big part in all this.

And there is a floodgate about to open as well. It's not like we are plodding on like before the lockdown. The whole country is on the starting blocks to do everything allowed which is exactly what has sent the figure soaring. It's ******* ridiculous. We come out of a month lock down with numbers falling so we re-open everything that caused the numbers to rise, twice!! What the **** is that about? Sounds like he's gambling on vaccines being around to stem the next growth in cases in 3 months time.

Not a chance. It's the same people that haven't bothered following it from the start and see all this lockdown as nothing more than an interruption to their lives. Time to start fining people to fill the coffers, not the companies.

        Nope.

Seen lots of people breaking them. All thanks to Cummings....

Cummings is a t*sser of the first order but I doubt we can blame him for the entire fiasco. Various MPs ignored restrictions and so did many members of the public.
