    Commision votes against travel ban

Nouvelle souche du Covid au Royaume-Uni: la Commission se prononce contre les interdictions generales de voyages - Le Soir

So it is up to each individual country to exercise the right to close it's borders.

It's good to see that the EU is finally learning.

Same message on all news outlets...

          “It’s those franchies innit?”

So tired of this culture of a blame game.
Now we are supposed to be revolted that we cannot live without a connection to the main continent that was obvious all along.

Maybe it would have been better all round if the UK had learnt that actually, each country in the EU has sovereignty and can control their own borders but that would have defeated the purpose
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

              Churchy could never learn that.

This is a pandemic situation; under 'normal' circumstances there would be no need to shut the border with the UK. If each nation has 'sovereignty', why did the EC have to take a vote on the issue?
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

They took a vote on a common policy. The EC are not able to vote as to whether the French open their borders or not as they are a sovereign nation. Funny that.
