The government is to launch a PR blitz against the blight of middle-class illegal drug use, it has been reported.
Boris Johnson is said to be planning the campaign with the hope of making taking cocaine as socially unacceptable as drink-driving.
TV, radio and billboard adverts will target wealthy cocaine users who see the drug as a harmless weekend party habit by highlighting the violent crime and gang warfare that it is helping to fund.
The Prime Minister hopes to imitate the successful drink-driving and road safety campaigns run by THINK! since 2000.
AIUI The cocaine is delivered by people who fit in the society not young boys. Dealers are likely to be called Rupert not Wayne. I suspect there is significant threats of violence in the cocaine business but that is serious criminals threatening serious criminals. Frankly if they kill each other we should celebrate!
Note almost all of the below had insignificant amounts (<1g) of cocaine.

The last two were obviously importers and top of the tree. I suspect no one dared mess with them.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

What would you spend the money on.
For comparison the
defence budget 2018/2019 £38 billion
According to SpaceX estimates, they could put 2-3 people on mars.
It is also about the same, as the whole Scottish budget for 2021??
£37Billion FFS.
I'd give the £140 billion back in tax cuts.Work in the public sector? Read the IR35 FAQ hereComment

PCR tests ain't cheap - especially in situation of all countries trying to get their hands on chemicals needed to run tests.

I'd like to see that £37bn broken down to see where and how it has been spent. There will be valid spend in there like the test kits, scientists etc and there will almost certainly be a whole load spaffed up the wall by Tory MP's mates and their dodgy middle men companies.
It needs a proper audit, although I'm sure the Tories with brush any findings under the carpet and their supporters will argue that Corbyn would have spent moreI am what I drink, and I'm a bitter manComment
