              No, we ate at the hotel - was very good, have stayed there a few times now.

              That Stein's place is more of a cafe-type menu, albeit Bavarian-styled. We just had a cheese/bread selection thing to accompnay the steins.

                      Oh - I looked it up in the dictionary and everything, but it didn't say that.

                      Obviously, it still uses the same etymology - from the Yiddish, "to eat". I guess I could have worked it out if I'd tried hard enough, but thought it might stand for / mean something completely different.
