    Working hours

What is your working day hours like?

Do you get to work from home at all

    #2
Current gig is 9-5 because all the people I need to talk to here are 9-5 permies and they don't do flexible hours or home working. On the plus side it's only 20 mins from home.

Last gig was 3-4 days a week working from home, occasional meetings on the client site. Most stuff was done via email or telephone.

I would kill for home working.

I am currently doing around 7:45 to 4pm due to the motorway network and local traffic, cannot leave before 4pm as a contractor.

Even leaving at 4pm takes 30 minutes to travel 4 miles to the motorway.

In three months time though will be moving to 7 to 3, life should be a lot easier then – nice to get home for 4pm with no traffic

8 to 5 for me ... plus 90 minutes travel each way. Lurvely.

Never can I work from home for they live in a "face time" culture.

        I am SO exhausted.

8:30 - 17:00 give or take a half-hour each way. Half an hour to one and a half hour for lunch. ( Usually the former ).

20 mins from home. Unless I stop off at the pub first.

9:30 to 17:00 with 1/2 hour lunch, with ability to work from home as and when required, which averages out at once a month.
