    Default Working with other nationalities

    Over the years I've worked with many nationalities sometimes in their home countries. Inevitably stereotypical traits show themselves. Some examples based on my experience;

    Italians - lazy
    French - need a scrub
Belgians - never go for a beer after work
Dutch - work hard, play hard
Americans - keen (that's about all)
Aussies - kinda like the Dutch
Kiwi's - invariably anal and boring

    Agree / disagree?

French - ***** like bunnies, well the girls do!
Belgians - Beer after work? Oh yes they do!
Dutch - Hmmm, they've got some big horny birds.
    Americans - pussies
    Aussies - good laugh.

    The rest, I agree.

Australians - Good for a laugh, like beer, but quietly good at the task
    Dutch - Boring
Danes - Drunk and pretty daft, intelligent
Spaniards - Manana, but very friendly
South Africans - Graft like mad but always willing to laugh
Belgians - Make the Dutch look interesting
    Swedes - Weird but bright
Norwegians - Make the Swedes look normal
Finns - Make the Norwegians look normal, beware the Finns and Norwegians in winter they are seriously grumpy
Portugese - Officious and have no concept of deadlines at all
    French - Bloody useless

Agree with the Frogs can get a bit wiffy towards the end of the week.

Nah, most Kiwi's I've met are OK.

Swissies are odd ones. Some OK, but a lot are boreing. When they do express emotion such as joy or frustration it is done in English.

Scandies are mental. Further north you go the worse they get.

    Septics -

Canadians - very confused lot. One moment they are proud not to be Americans and the next they are trying to emulate them. On the whole I suppose they are OK.

    Italians lazy????

    ##### off. Seriously.

You obviously have never worked with any of them. We wouldn't have been able to build entire countries, like Switzerland, if we were like you said and be able to find a job in almost every country in this world. Unless you worked in a Government company... (but then I guess it's the same all over the world).

Dutch, work hard? Where? I have never worked with any lazier population so far...
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

I have worked with great of many nationalities and find generalisations like the ones expressed in this thread rather tasteless and lacking intelligence.
