    Takes forever to get warm when it's this cold

    Get a electric heater. plug it into your cigarette lighter...sorted.

          Tried one of those, Unfortunately most car cigarette lighters have a 15 Amp fuse so they can only draw about 180W, which sadly doesn't make for a very warm car...

            I suppose you'll just have to let it idle for five minutes then...or wear a sweater.

            How would you manage if it was -25C outside??

                Get the bus. It's a lot warmer with all of those people wrapped up against the cold.

                Alternatively, get a driver. He can then warm up the car for you and you step into a toasty warm conveyance.
