What a disapointing week for job adverts

Despite the slow down I have still seen jobs suitable for myself (service management) over the past few weeks.......

This week has been dead!!!!

Any one else felt this week has been slower in thier chosen field or area?

Im finishing up my contract soon so started looking, looks dire.

The insurance industry has gone from lots of generic type ba roles to very specific roles with key skills.

Usually you'd get 4 or 5 a week you could apply for, now there's only 1 or 2 a week if you're lucky

Just found out I have managed to land a second interview for a council gig........

Oh there are adverts alright, just no jobs behind them!

I usually see at least 5 or 6 roles for my skillset each year, but this week it's been dead.
