Oooh good call. i did that back in '96 whilst at Glaxo and its fantastic. Hump day is tuesday, then b4 you know it, its time for end-of-week beers on wednesday afternoon.

Then you have weekend1 to do all your chores etc, then weekend2 you can just socialise all weekend - its like the good old days when all you needed was a motorbike, a decent stereo and some cash in your pocket to be happy and you had no responsibilities and nothing else to do on the weekend except party.

    Go for it

I feel trapped in a tulip gig but feel the market is too bad to move on, I’ve never worked so hard for so little, I’ve never had to put up with this level of bureaucratic bulltulip, I’ve never had to deal with so many buck passers.

I wish people would stop moaning about government IT projects costing too much and never working, I miss the old gravy train days.
At the risk of sounding like Wilmslow I'm in a similar situation. At current gig we've all been told we'll be getting the chop, then they've spent months fannying about pushing end dates backwards and forwards, and we're still none the wiser when it's all going to come to an end. The only thing anyone's motivated to do any more is get their timesheet signed...

Make sure you provide the pen. They're more likely to use one with disappearing ink in the current climate.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

Oh, come on, agents are so thin-skinned? Any agent on here who doesn't get the piss taken will start to wonder if anyone is paying attention

Yes. It sounds like a reasonably happy compromise: less dosh, but 4-day weekend. On balance, could be a winner. Fingers crossed.
