She joined EastEnders when the programme began in 1985 and remained in it until 2006, when her character died.

I'm a bit out of touch with the telly I think. I had no idea she'd left Eastenders.

Shes was a regular in one of my old locals.

Liked a drink and a fag, and was a very decent crib player.

My kind of guy/gal.
