Coming from someone who believes in talking snakes, people living in whales, 900 year old men and dead people who can move large boulders, I can't say this really surprises me

Jesus wasn't dead by then - he'd been resurrected. So he doesn't believe in that.

btw - he also believes that donkeys can talk. That the sun can be reversed in its motion across the sky.

I would think this is laughable if it wasn't causing any damage.
He is personally responsible for the death of every AIDS victim that occurs as a consequence of his comments.

Although I take issue with a lot of things the CofE do; at least their leader is educated and thoughtful.

    What a great quote...

"A catholic priest giving advice on human sexuality is like Quasimodo working as a chiropractor" - Robin Williams
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus
