    UK is a world leader...

    ...in the Global Recession.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7949978.stm

The recession will last longer in the UK than in any of the world's other major economies, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has predicted.

The IMF warned the UK will be the only member of the G7 group of leading industrial countries that will continue to see its economy contract in 2010.

As the UK depends on finance its no big suprise.

If the city moves from the UK then this country will go under.

The city will move from London if new legislation is too restrictive,
getting the balance right will be important.

The city is unlikely to make tax revenue contributions at the same rate as
it made in Labour's bubble economy and the government will have
to get used to that....we'll have to diversify ..

The City of London has a great future behind it.
