Just think - if you'd actually chucked the PC off the desk you'd have got a free anger management course and a new PC.

Are you in the public sector at the moment?

The whole anger management thing is just ... words fail me.

Recently liberated (but would still be there if they had the cash )

I did see a lot of sillyness - in particular the way that all rules/courses apply to all people. It's a bit different being at the sharp end of A&E on a Saturday night to doing 9-5 in a secure office - you have differnt requirements and need different skills - but the system doesn't recognise that. Only had to do one bit of 'conflict resolution' when I got cornered in a lift by some loony - I 'resolved' it by telling him very firmly to ffff off. As a contractor, I didn't have to do any of those courses thank goodness - me just code monkey (ook )

The (ook) should be the new symbol for codemonkies like us - btw, have you heard the song? I only found it this week and have added it to my favourites.

I worked in a military hospital as a clinician (of sorts) before going to uni to do my degree(s) and loved it but the mentals were (ahem) a challenge.

No haven't heard it but I think I should.

Loony was a polite term. Winkered would have been nearer the mark (C U Jimmy).

No it makes you a haggis muncher - or maybe a McMuncher. Btw - do we have any Welsh in tonight? Obviously I'd like to offend everyone equally...
OK, OK now it's time to GMC. Honestly, the public sector is soooooo inclusive

                    Thank you.

                    That's Dilbert standard, that is.

I have printed it off to add to my "little folder of things that amuse me" that I have to maintain to stop me from thinking that it is just me.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.
