Vote Conservative and see a decade of austerity. Many of you think cutting public sector jobs is a good idea. But that means worse services for us on stuff we use like hospitals and schools. Plus the canned public sector employees stop spending on private sector goods and services.

It's a no win.

The country has been a Walter Mitty "Fantasy Island" for too long - we behave like a super-power, go to wars abroad and pay ourselves too much without producing anything.

Now its time for cold hard reality.

The simple solution to the pension deficit for all the public sector workers is to raise the pension age in Britain to 90. Most of them won't be claiming a penny. That's the pension problem solved.

Don't be naive. In theory you are correct. You could trim the fat at the top.
But what are the chances of that? No, it will be swathes of NHS cleaners, nurses, teachers at the bottom level who will go.
The senior civil servants will keep their perks and gold-plated pensions.
