Correct, look up what Tony Bliar was saying in 1997 about tax, then decide if those words are really worth the paper they're written on.

Labour has pledged to impose no new tax rises despite being warned that increases are the only way to cut record public debt.

Yesterday, in a surprise intervention ahead of the Budget, Liam Byrne, the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, ruled out further increases, including VAT, should Labour win the election.

There you go, you can all vote Labour now safe in the knowledge they have pledged not to raise any taxes for the next five years.

      Deficit, what deficit?

Are you John Redwood (on and on and on). Don't you have to go and learn the words to the Welsh National Anthem or some such. Now run along....

Does it matter what promises these muppets come up with before the elections? They are just 'promises', which they are not obligated to keep. The voters will just grumble and mumble and get on with their sorry lives and vote them back in after 4 years. Job done.
Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !
