As the ice cap freezes up again, have you noticed how the Ocean Acidification argument is being pushed to the surface.
Nope, I do spot an attempt at misdirection on the day that Phil Jones is exonerated, though.

I don't suppose they've thought about spending £300 on a fish tank and pumping CO2 in it to see how marine life reacts,
Course they have, most-cited is Feely et al which found that doubling of atmospheric CO2 results in a reduction in calcification rates of between 5 and 25% across different organisms.

If you're pumping CO2 into your fish tank, I suggest you stop.

According to the Royal Society (as opposed to the error-ridden blog of a retired TV weatherman)

"Action needs to be taken now to reduce global emissions of CO2 to the atmosphere to avoid the risk of large and irreversible damage to the oceans. We recommend that all possible approaches be considered to prevent CO2 reaching the atmosphere. No option that can make a significant contribution should be dismissed."
    Anyone spot a pattern here?
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

the examiner does not hold back.

Please inform me, a non UK person, about what kind of news outlet the examiner is. Reputable or equal to National Enguirer?

AGW has absolutely no credibility as far as I'm concerned as there is no evidence that the current climate changes are linked to human CO2 production activity and not simply natural planetary fluctuations.

Now if you want to point to climate alterations which are man made then take a look at the Sahara Desert, bits of what used to be the Amazon or Sumatran rain forests or the soot covered Himalayan glaciers.

what and kill the plants and the coral ??

It is quite normal to pump CO2 into an aquarium.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

                      Erm....

There's an awful lot of evidence that long before mankind or even mammals evolved the atmospheric CO2 levels have been vastly higher than they are now and life positively thrived in the sea and on land.

In periods when vulcanism is high (there's bog all now compared to many periods through geological history) there are more atmospheric pollutants in the carbide, nitride and sulphide families lobbed up in a year than mankind has ever produced since it first discovered fire.

Planet Earth is a dynamic and changable system with, in human terms, very long timescales, taking a miniscule, statistically trivial period like a century and attempting to prove a trend is unbelievably naive and arrogant.
