I'm fortunate in that I can work a week in London every 6 months or so. On Monday, I think, "This is great, the bustle and people, etc." By Friday, though, I realised all the things that I left: the dirt, rudeness, being stuck on the central line in August, etc.

again ,what is it English people don't like England for ? Weather ? Sure, if that is the issue. Political system ? It is the same everywhere , in the UK it is actually fairly good. Salaries in the UK are higher than Australia ( I assume ) so what are you whining for ? Immigrants ? Need for change ?Comment

At the moment I am stuck here in one of those trips that went horribly wrong (I got sick and I've got other 'issues' to sort out too). I am desperate to get out of the country. If/when I do get out, I think that I will be avoiding the place like the plague. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
