    I ******* love Google!

Been tasked with designing a data warehouse and best practice set of reports on a business area I know a little about.

An hour later. Google now only finds me all the background, but an entire data warehouse design and an entire Oracle White paper with 'best practice' reports.

Now that's a search engine and not a bloody squirrel in sight!
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

But if his client could be bothered finding it for himself, he'd never have called in an "expert" like MF.

At the end of the day it's just a starter for me. Will still need to gather reqs.

The power of Googles search engine is frankly incredible. Wheni started out, no Internet to really speak of. No Amazon! Heading down to specialist book stores desperately buying up techie books.

What would we do without it???

Actually apply for jobs that you've got claimed experience for?

Nah. Out of my 10 or so contracts on 4 I've been able to do from day 1. The rest I had to learn pretty sharpish.
