      So not content with being completely tulip at running a train service they are now deciding to blame it on IT contractors?

      **** that. Blame it on the dopey ***** who were too cheap to pay for overhead wires.

            Sounds plausible. South West Trains (the other TOC that has 3rd rail electrification on most of their network) don't have any Electrostars, and their trains seemed to survive much better than Southern/Southeastern.

              SouthEastern's Javelin trains using overhead gantry on the high speed line actually held up quite well over the cold snap compared to the third rail slow line - the slow line suffered so much that they had to switch users onto the High Speed line foc
