What makes you think it wasn't Cameron in the first place that ordered the tory graph strike?

Mr Cable sounded very eager to show off in front of those female young sounding reporters

I suppose you could read it that way, but I think you're being too charitable to Cameron.

I think Dave should have stamped his authority on this government and sacked the narcisstic, tulipe-stirring old bastard. As it is, it makes Vince's claim that he can nuke the coalition (if he is sacked or resigns) seem credible.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Why does everybody think the PM can sack lib-dem party members?

Surely this has to be joint decision between nick and glam clam?

The PM can sack a cabinet minister of whatever party.

Me too. I'm surprised at least one of the red tops didn't go with it.

Though presumably the replacement would have to be another LibDem so as not to upset the wife* too much.

I never really understood the fuss about Vince Cable. I'm not sure why he gained such a high profile, and he never looked like he was comfortable with the coallition.

                    *I.e. Clegg.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
