        Tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime.

        i wonder where he stood on the issue of retrospective legislation. it would be nice to make it compulsory life, just for today then change it back tomorrow.

              18 months is too long for that amount, if it was benefit fraud he might only get a few months. I expect an appeal to get it down substantially.

                He could have been given 7 years, far more appropriate IMHO - but he pleaded guilty, plus no criminal record even though is CV says he worked as MP...

                    I'm waiting for that imbecile Elliott Morley, the ex-Rt Hon MP for Scunthorpe, to get his.
